BETHESDA TOURNAMENT RULES: Rules will be as established by the Bethesda Lacrosse Association www.bethesdalacrosse.org as noted below:
1. Players may compete for only ONE team during the tournament. Any player found to be playing on two teams will cause a forfeit for both of the teams they participated with. Any team that uses an illegal player at any time in the tournament will be suspended immediately. Roster checks will be enforced throughout the day . In addition, coaches can request before the game. Submitted rosters at beginning of season will be used for player verification, no changes, additions or players not on rosters will be allowed. Bethesda Lacrosse will have copies of certified rosters for referees.
2. Seedings for the tournament were determined by division league games only. (Except K/1st and 2nd/3rd Grade Division-see #3)
3. K/1st and 2ND/3RD GRADE DIVISION ONLY- Seedings were done based on the strength of the Teams – as determined by the League Commissioner – based on strength of schedule and results during the regular season.
4. There will be no stick checks unless requested by the opposing coach, and if the stick is found not to be illegal, the challenging team will be charged a timeout. If no timeouts remain, a delay of game technical foul will be assessed.
5. Games will be running on 10 minute running quarters on Saturday and 12 minute running quarters on Sunday.
6. There will be a “Mercy Rule” for all age groups. If a Team establishes a lead of 10 goals – the game will be ended by the referee.
7. Sudden victory overtime will be used to decide all ties in playoff games.
8. If there are any questions regarding rules, the referee’s decision on the field will be the final ruling.
9. Any player, coach of fan ejected from a game or field during the tournament will be prohibited from playing, coaching or watching any additional games in the tournament.

This camp focuses on both developing individual skills and teamwork. The camp will focus on player position skills, passing and catching, shooting, ground balls, defense, offense, dodging and a basic understanding of team tactics. This camp will be overseen by Clinic Commissioner Kevin Bookman, and coached by a cadre of Bethesda Lacrosse coaches including Bethesda Lacrosse Alumni currently playing at Division I programs and high school players committed to play in Division I programs.Perfect for beginner players up to three years of experience.
This will be an intensive 4 day (evening) program that will provide the same skill development that a normal 7 week introductory clinic would provide that is held in the spring or fall.
After successful participation in the summer clinic, players will be eligible to play in the Bethesda Lacrosse League in the fall and will be allowed to register for teams in their age category.
GRADES: Rising 1st grade through rising 8th grade

The Matt Breslin Goalie Camp focuses on the entire goaltending position for that special athlete between the pipes! Coach Breslin breaks the position down step by step to make goalie as simple as possible and to make each goalie as successful as possible (while having a ton of fun!). With a great coach to goalie ratio, the goalies are active and engaged the entire time. The drills are fun and will give goalies drills/tools to take back with them to prepare for future seasons. All goalies need at least 1 season experience to take part in this camp. Limit – 18 goalies so sign up now!

Players will be split up by age and skill level and will learn how to shoot properly and effectively. This camp will be directed and coached by former and current college lacrosse players with assistance from high school players from the area.

The Bethesda Lacrosse Face-off Camp focuses all the skills needed to be successful at the Face-Off “X.” Players will be split up by age and skill level and will learn all the tricks of the trade to win and secure the draw! This camp will be directed and coached by former and current college lacrosse players with assistance from high school players from the area. Limit – 20 in each session so sign up now!

Introductory Clinic for rising K-8th graders (2016-2017 School Year). These clinics are for players with 1 season or less of experience.
Learn the basics of scooping, passing, cradling, shooting and dodging in a FUN FILLED environment through lots of repetition and games to emphasize the skills learned at each session. Upon completion, players can register for a fall recreational team. Players must have protective eye goggles, mouth guard, and a women's stick to participate. T-SHIRT PROVIDED WITH REGISTRATION.
Fee: $185 Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the session start time to sign in and get ready for the clinic.
