GAMES: (8 weeks)

One Game per weekend, most on Saturday, but some may be on Sunday afternoons.

ANY PLAYER FOUND IN VIOLATION WILL BE IMMEDIATELY EJECTED.

PRACTICES:  

Once a week practices will be held various weekday evenings. Note, coaches will not know teams practice times until the first week of March, once County permits are released.

  • Division is best suited for new or less experienced Kindergarten and 1st graders and will be based on a developmental format to focus on fundamentals, increase confidence and to have a lot of fun!Weekly “development” and game sessions.

 

NEW! 1st GRADE INTERMEDIATE-  CLICK HERE TO REGISTER

  • For current 1st graders and more experienced K players that have completed an intermediate clinic or have one (1) full year prior experience. Players will have weekly development/practice sessions (at the same time as the 2nd graders) and small sided games on the weekends.

  • 2nd graders will have skill development practices each week and a game each weekend
  • 3rd graders will have a team practice and a game each weekend

GIRLS Spring 2016 Registration and Information

GIRLS SPRING 2016 Recreational Teams

and Clinics Registrations

 

 Registration will close at the end of February for 3rd-8th Grade Teams.

 

1st/2nd Grade Registration (click to register)

Little Lady League

New this season, all Bethesda Lacrosse players will practice together on Thursday from 6:15-7:15 pm at Landon with a “Skills and Drills” session and play other Bethesda Lacrosse teams on Sunday. Bethesda Lacrosse is committed to training these young girls to ensure they not only learn the proper skills and fundamentals to play this great game, but also develop a love for this sport through exciting games and engaging practice sessions. The practices and curriculum used will be various skill stations where each player will shoot the ball 100+ times each week , pick up a ton of ground balls each week, catch 100+ balls each week. Games will be 60 minutes on Sunday, April 3rd-May 22nd at Tilden Center, 6300 Tilden Lane, Rockville MD 20852 between 3-5pm.  T-shirt provided with registration. No prior experience necessary. The season will begin with an “Opening Day” practice on Sunday, March 20th. Fee: $195

 

3rd/4th Grade Registration (click to register)

Teams will begin practices the week of March 14th (weather permitting). The MGLL spring season begins with a Play Day on Sunday, April 3rd. Regular season games are Sunday, April 10th-May 22nd.  All players must have completed an Introductory Clinic or Camp in order to register for a recreational team. Fee: $275  Additional information below. Practices for all 3rd/4th teams are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, 6-7:30pm, at Little Falls Park (corner of Little Falls Parkway and Arlington Blvd in Bethesda).

 

5th/6th Grade Registration (click to register)

Teams will begin practices the week of March 14th (weather permitting). The MGLL spring season begins with a Play Day on Sunday, April 3rd. Regular season games are Sunday, April 10th-May 22nd.  All players must have completed an Introductory Clinic or Camp in order to register for a recreational team. Fee: $275  Additional information below. Practices 1X per week TBD.

Players in Kindergarten through 1st Grade will be will learn the basics of scooping, passing and cradling in a fun filled environment through lots of repetition and fun games! LACROSSE STICK AND T-SHIRT INCLUDED WITH REGISTRATION. Fee: $150

  • Location: Ashburton Elementary School, 6314 Lone Oak Drive, Bethesda MD 20817
  • Time: Saturday, April 9th - May 22nd   11am-12pm

 

Introductory Clinic Registration (click to register)

Players in 1st-8th Grade will be will learn the basics of scooping, passing, cradling, shooting and dodging in a fun filled environment through lots of repetition and games to emphasize the skills learned at each session! Upon completion, players can register for a fall recreational team. Players must have protective eye goggles, mouth guard, and a women’s lacrosse stick. T-SHIRT PROVIDED WITH REGISTRATION. Fee: $165

  • Location: Ashburton Elementary School, 6314 Lone Oak Drive, Bethesda MD 20817
  • Time: Saturday, April 9th - May 22nd   11am-12pm

 

FOR ALL RECREATIONAL TEAMS:

Roster notification will be emailed approximately March 1st and game schedules will be available late March when provided by MGLL. Games will be played in Montgomery County between 12-6pm.

MGLL-Metro Girl's Lacrosse League

PRACTICES:Once a week with practices held on various weekday evenings. Note: Coaches will not know team practice times until the first week of March, once County permits are released.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE:  3rd-8th Graders MUST have participated in an Introductory Clinic or Camp in order to join a team. No prior experience necessary for 1st/2nd Grade Little Lady League.

EQUIPMENT: Your daughter will need protective eye goggles, mouth guard, and a women's lacrosse stick in order to play. Uniform provided with Registration.

REQUESTS: In the Registration Form, you may enter a Coach Request and/or Teammate Requests.  These are not guaranteed, but Bethesda Lacrosse will try to accommodate your requests.

VOLUNTEER: If you are interested in COACHING your daughter's team, the Registration Fee will be waived. Please contact bethesdagirlslacrosse@gmail.com for more information.

No Refunds after March 1, 2016 for all teams and March 15th for all Clinics. There is a $25 processing fee for all canceled registrations.
